Privacy policy
How this site handles data: visitor identification on load, what else loads only after a click, cookieless analytics, hosting logs, your rights.
Who is responsible
SkavanderHR runs this site and is responsible for the data described on this page. Write to petr@skavander.com for anything on this page.
What this site does not do
Most of this site sets no cookies and writes nothing to your browser until you click something that needs it, such as picking a time for a call or playing a video. The one exception is the visitor identification described below, which runs as soon as the page loads. Outside that, the site carries no advertising trackers, and your data is never sold to anyone.
Visitor identification
We use Apollo.io to recognise which company a visit comes from, so we can see which organisations read the site. It loads when the page loads, sets a cookie, and sends the visit data, including your IP address, to Apollo.io, whose servers are in the United States. It does not tell us your name. Write to petr@skavander.com to object and we will stop it for you.
Hosting
The site runs on Cloudflare. Cloudflare keeps a short server log of each visit, including your IP address, so the site stays fast and secure. These logs are kept only briefly and then deleted.
Analytics
Visits are counted with Umami and with PostHog, both run from servers in the EU. Neither sets a cookie, and neither stores anything that identifies you. This only shows how many people visited a page, never who they are.
Booking a call
The booking calendar loads only once you click “Pick a time”. From that point, HubSpot runs the calendar and sets its own cookies to remember your booking. Whatever you enter there goes to HubSpot to schedule the call, and into our own records so we can prepare for it.
Videos
A video loads only once you click play, through YouTube’s privacy enhanced mode. Nothing loads and nothing is tracked before you press play.
Candidate outreach
If we contacted you about an open role, you can ask us to stop at any time: reply to that message, or write to petr@skavander.com, and we will remove your details. We contact people about one specific open role on the basis of a legitimate interest in filling it. If you object, we stop.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how it is used. Write to petr@skavander.com for any of this. If you are not satisfied with the answer, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country.
